Because I had played Story and survival prior to SOA I continue on with my save into SOA and had the diving gear.
Are you talking about the cave at the airport?
It is a no go once you we start playing SOA.
And thats from both ends.
The alternative route is take a walk opposite the airport building and climb a rope up then follow the path.
Which map number please?
As I cant find your co ordinates.
Please give a few more details where this cave is.
Is this for the map as thats on a large ship top floor.
SOA Map 1.

Hey thanks so much for your reply! Just for added context, this was a brand new game on the SOE game mode and was not continued over from the story mode.
As for the map, it appears to be map 3 (the airfield map) so it's likely the cave you are talking about is the same one, I may have just been confused as I thought it was a secret/ legend that was not yet discovered as both me and my duo tried to swim through it without any luck.
oh awesome thanks for this info! We earned 800 trust with the Habbacu tribe tonight but will be doing the trial another night, thanks for helping!
No problem. ^^ You're in for a treat, hope you enjoy it. ^^
nextgengranny,
Are you maybe thinking of this quest cave?
That one appears after we completed other quests your right there.

The airport cave is closed off once playing SOA any version.
That cave was part of Story.
The one where we walk up from the radio then turn right walk down a path and absale down
There is no oxygen tanks at the chest now .
But OP will soon find that out :)
In SOA.
There is 2 new areas to cross over now.
one >walk right to the top edge of the Airport East there is a climbing rope going down, leads to the top of the waterfall and the cave below but no swimming required.
In my map,
See the airport and flag 2 climbing ropes.
That will take you over a pass to the otherside and the new area for the tribal leader base.

have fun though and hope it helps :)
Hi! So the cave I was talking about is in the airfield map that you sent, more specifically, the dive is located underwater in the small pool at the top right of the square of 27, 25. (A little NW of the southern most climbing spot). The dive is a narrow but long cave under the water when swimming to the bottom of this pool (definitely not a glitch it looks very intentional) but somebody pointed out to me that this may be to do with the Habbacu tribe trial :)
Hi lets see.
SOA 1 Map is the brownish one with the ships.
SOA 2 maps are found on the board at the airport.
All Maps prior from Story are replaced except the SOA 1 found on ship its the large brown one, the 2 new maps added found at the airport board which I provided.
There is another map for SOA 3 found at Mia and Jakes old tent.
The cave at the airport leads out to a pond in Story game however in SOA that cant be swum through now as we dont have the oxygen tanks.
In SOA 2 we will go to that pond at the other end of the cave swim and help a native. if you swim down in that pond it is just a wall no access to the cave.
From my own experience as I wondered this as well..
This is the pond where used to swim out before SOA.

There is another long cave we can use to shortcut through to the SOA 3 area.
