SoA 3rd Map Bug – Any Advice Is Greatly Appreciated

Hey guys,

I have reached the third map in SoA and reached the airport. I went to the location the 3rd and 4th maps are supposed to be, but that spot is empty (next to the calendar on the wall, as shown by many walkthrough videos). Therefore, I cannot continue to play as the places I have been visiting do not get marked, and the quest “Find something useful at the airport” cannot be finished, Additionally, the women of the last tribe sit on Anaconda Island and cry without any cages or enemies, and I cannot interact with them.

I wrote a similar post a couple of weeks ago, but any advice I got did not work out. I have searched the forum and other online resources but did not find any solution. I tried to reinstall the game, verified the files, and loaded older saves, but nothing worked. So, I will take any advice as I really want to finish the game. Maybe even someone has a save starting part 3, I take that gladly too.

Hey! This bug is being investigated at our side, we hope to fix it in the next couple patches. Thank you for the report!

Your patience is legendary OP. I would have given up by now lol. Thankfully they seem aware and are working on it. Maybe take a break until then. I could give you a part 3 save but it would not be where you left off and you would probably find it unsatisfying.

Alternatively, if you post your save here I can try to find the map and save it then return it to you.

Niner, unfortunate but I could not fix it on my end. Went to airport and the maps were not there either for me, it must be an issue with the save file itself.

Interestingly and Devs may find this useful as well, I also went to "Anaconda Island" and there were Tribal Women there. But the cages were missing! They were just crying and sitting there but nothing could be done to free them. So I thought maybe some "progress" needed to be made to unlock the cages and map.

I helped a Tribal Fisherman and gained some trust. The cages were still missing, so I am out of ideas. Apologies!

Thank you so much for your help! It is a pity that the save game seems to be highly corrupted now, especially given that I did not encounter a single bug before part 3 and now it has become unplayable :( I really hope the devs can fix the anaconda island bug and the missing maps in the near future... fingers crossed!
