Report a translation problem
That said, rituals are obnoxious to say the least. Luckily the others are less frantic.
You'll probably just have to be very strategic, then. The cats can be targeted from a fair distance away, which should help. I would also suggest doing a bug report; I think I forgot to, but I forget things more easily these days.
You're welcome, & the best of luck.
Which type of input ? keyboard, or controller ?
That's really a strange bug. :(
I use keyboard and mouse but do have a flight stick controller connected to my PC which has caused issues in a couple of other games. It did cross my mind to remove it but I'm not near the village atm to test it, however, it hasn't caused any conflicts with this game but when launched the game detects it and even asks if it should be the current input method to which I select 'no'.
Strange bug indeed.
I have sent an email to support with the requested information.
However, I thought I'd try finishing the ritual regardless and I'm happy to say that I managed it on my next attempt, but as I was playing it I was wracking my brain as to what might be causing the problem. It only happened when I pressed the forward key for a few seconds and this gave me an idea.
Anyway, it turns out the issue was related to my key bindings, which I change for all games that I can from WASD to TFGH, so I figured it must be the T command that cancels the ritual for some reason. I changed my movement keys back to WASD and yes, the problem was fixed! I reset all bindings to default settings and T is the default key for using the walkie talkie. I entered the ritual again, didn't move and pressed T for a few seconds and it quit the ritual and sent me back to the village camp, just like the issue I had. Unsure why it would do this when I changed my bindings but I will let Creepy Jar know my results.
