necrotic wound
After sleeping off an infection + fever I now have permanent necrosis that can not be cured by maggots or special bandages.
According to the wiki and all online information this should not exist.
The notebook does not have any additional information.

I had 1 maggot that I used on the arm when it was first infected but I did not aply a bandage after. Now maggots can not be used on the wounds and they are black. It has been a couple of ingame days and nothing changed. I am left with a massive debuff to health.

Once you get to that phase of infection if I recall correctly it takes more than 1 maggot. I would try several maggots and then immediately bandage it with a campfire ash bandage. Should do the trick.

In the end one maggot was enough. I must have done something wrong the first time, maybe I confused a larva with a maggot.

That's right, you need a pinch of maggots and then a bandage. Actually cutting up warahas and using them as a maggot farms is payback for their attempts to kill you.
