@CreepyJarDev_Alicia While that does make me somewhat happy, I am unfortunately not going to put much stock into this statement. With no information from them directly on the subject that I can find and the fact that people have to dig deep to find the few statements they have made on the project, it makes it hard to believe they are genuinely going to continue with it. If they release a statement saying this themselves, maybe I will be more optimistic. I don't have any knowledge of licensing and ip rights, but I do genuinely wish you guys would take control of the Switch version. I would rather wait two or more years for you guys to come out with a competent update to the game for Switch then rely on a third party developer who has made no effort to communicate with the community on the future of the product to come out with one, even if as you say they plan to release an update sometime next year. It doesn't meet any of the standards of quality your studio has put forth with the pc and console versions. That is not subjective. Your team clearly cares and is trying to improve the game, while they don't and are not.
the gameplay would be so different. and that is making you guys Creepy jar getting a bad name. I really hope the nintendo switch version would be updated too
