Hold the fish rod you should see a circle at the hand area where the reel is.
add either a fishing hook or bait.

Cast line where you see fish. As soon as you feel a tug pull in line.

small maggots used for stick fish traps.
large maggot also used for fishing rod trap.
Discus fish raw can also be used as bait on fishing rod

Also Angelfish and orange cup mushrooms.

Maggots for discus and angelfish.
Larva for bass and piranha.
Discus/Angelfish for piranha (and arowana? Need to test)
Cup mushroom for arowana apparently.

Casting is always the same distance, so aim towards the water or the cast will cancel (also cancels if too far).
