Drying rack

Do I need to start a new game to find the drying rack? It's not in any of the camps on any of my saves.

I didn't have to restart game and found the drying rack at bamboo camp: 52w,17s

No drying rack for me there, only the bamboo smoker.

I have been to all of the camps without successfully finding the drying rack. Smokers and other items are there like they were before 0.2.0; but no drying rack. I wonder if it only appears after you reach a certain crafting skill level. Or, maybe I'm just blind. What does it look like?

I can confirm that the drying rack doesn't spawn in a pre 0.20 savegame. If you start a new game though, you'll find the rack at the abandoned camp (46W,26S) 3 steps SE of the stone ring. It will unlock both drying racks, the log wood one aswell as the bamboo rack.

Hopefully, that will change. I'm not going to give up my hard-earned skills and preparations just for a lousy drying rack.

Well, there is still a chance you can learn it when raising the crafting skill. I can feel you man, but thats the price we have to pay for playing EA. :/

I don't think that you unlock buildings with raising crafting. So far i unlocked only weapons (I'm close to 70)

I am nearly at day 60. I enjoy the game a lot but seriouly, I have to start over if want the drying rack? I like my game now, so I hope the rack will be somhow added with a patch.

yeah please fix that, we want dying racks in old saves... i got all animals new map changes but not the dying rack (seems like a bug)

Same for me. Only on day 25, but still. It's not much fun starting over because you're forced to.
