Try to set up a small fire and let it burnt out. And then you will have camp fire ash to apply on a leaf bandage. Ash dressing should be able to prevent wound to get infection.
PS Charcoal could be harvested to get camp fire ash as well.
Just put campfire ash and leaf bandage on the crafting table, and you can get a ash dressing
Eat charcoal straight from bag.

Actually we do not have too many options. Best way to deal with fever, is pain killer, though it's kinda limited. If you could managed to start a fire, bone infusion could deal with 3 stacks of fever as well as replenish your protein and fat. There's also a type of red flower you can harvest from cutting the plant, and you make it into a brew, which also clear fever. But that flower must be fresh one, cannot be dried, and fresh flower will dried up in 12 hours, so I don't recommend this.
If you're really out of options, make yourself a leaf bed and sleep over it. Better sleep on a bed until it wore off than lost all your stamina and pass out.
First thing you should do is condition yourself to always have a bunch of Bandages in your bag. You make them from Molineria leaves, each plant you harvest lets you make 3 Bandages. But you don't use *just* the Bandage. Using only the Bandage leaves you with the chance to get an infection, especially if you apply it while you are dirty. You need to further craft them with a few other items. Add your choice of Tobacco Leaf, Campfire Ash, or Plantain Lily Leaf to protect against Infection completely. Tobacco Leaf also makes Venom wounds heal faster, as well. You can also process a Goliath Bird Eater (the largest spider) to make a Bandage type, but I don't find the effort to be worthwhile. You have to first find one and kill it, without accidentally stepping on it and getting bitten for a Venom wound. Then you have to leave it by a fire until it has first cooked, then burned (which takes longer and longer as your Cooking skill increases). Then you can craft it with a Bandage. All in all, I always keep the entire bottom of my bag with a row of stacks of different Bandages. There have been situations I've gone through almost all of them in a string of bad luck situations before I could get back to my camp.
All that said, the best way to prevent infection is to never get any wounds in the first place. This is where Armor comes in. In a pinch, you can even make it with just a Banana Leaf, though with the prevalence of Sticks you should really make Stick Armor instead. Bone Armor is quite a bit stronger, but it takes 3 Bones each (and you need 4 pieces, one for each arm) so you will occasionally have to go without for a bit. Metal Armor is the best, but that takes quite a bit of infrastructure to get going. Long story short, if you're wearing Armor it is significantly harder for you to be wounded.
For Fever...
Time is the cure for a Fever, though you will want to have access to quite a lot of Water, since your body will consume a lot more of it. There are a number of ways to make it go away faster, but in the end the answer is to just wait. An easy assist is Bone Broth, made by boiling Water by a fire, then adding a Bone to it to cook. Another thing you can cook is the Cassaba Blub, which also has quite the nutrient profile in addition to speeding through the Fever.
