Treating snake bite with tobacco leaf?
I do find some mention about using tobacco to treat snake bite, but I can only fine 1 proper report from a doc in using tobacco against snake venom, and that was dated back to 1867...
Anyone got any idea if tobacco leaf realy works against rattle snake venom??

Ya, but hence GH lable it self as using "realistic surviving skills" in the game, I will be expecting the DEV putting real method of dealing with injury in bushcraft in the game...

Tobacco has long been used to pull venom out of bee stings and to a lessor degree snake bites in folk remedies. I can remember my mother using a ripped up cig on bee stings when i was a child(also meat tenderizer). There is plenty of discussion on the internet arguing whether it works or not, a quick Google search turns up many threads on it.

Given the type of game this is, I would rather the remedies you make be 'folk medicine' as we are out in the bush, even if they are not scientificly proven. This is not ment to teach you actual survival skills.

It's still a game, "realism" only goes so far. Certain sacrifices must be made for the sake of gameplay. And as pointed out, this isn't a survival class, it's a game.
