Is multiplayer any good?

There is no problem with coop in this game. It makes 2 (or more) people to manage the camp and find ressources.

There are aslo some advanges, for exemple, if you collapse because you too tired, your friend can wake you up before you get infected by bugs.

The only thing is to find a good source of food, because there are several persons to be fed with the ressources made for one.

But it is perfectly doable, I did thre main campaign and the DLC with my friend and we had no problem.

The only concern was the fact that there was only 1 modern pot and 1 modern bidon, but there is a way to dupe them and the new pottery system solved the problem.

So if you have a good friend to make the story with, go !

it seems to be fine...I often just jump into randoms and just make food for all....and at times medic. :P

i mean like is multiplayer good mechanicaly. does it have a lot of bugs? does it crash? does the game act weird in it? im sure the multiplayer is fun, basicaly any game is fun when youre ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around in a jungle with your friends

Any small glitches we had were fixed and also not game breaking just adds more fun.
Never had any problems also I used the privacy settings invite friends. Noone will try to get into your game then.
Whomever hosts should have a PC sufficient ram good GPU with good Vram good cpu to run the game with 3 other players.

we rush story so food not issue cuz all those camp stuff got enough snack for us
my PC literally upgrade from office worker PC by added Super 2060 card and double 8 gbs RAM and my gang play together on me PC fine
we havent finish main story yet tho cuz kinda lost after figure out Lamba 2
only thing we encounter is during going up and down there will be desync with someone getitng push off but actually on me PC seeing them with me
also animal desync with me kill them but they c them animal stand still
no major issue

just jumped into some public games. besides the fact that theres almost no servers that arent just a russian that cant speak english or a 7 year old who spawned 5 native kids into the camp forcing you to listen to constant screaming and crying, its quite fun.

The thing i don't like in this multiplayer is that i have to turn away or my buddy has to turn away so the other one is able to do something with an item.

The item is in use because he's or I am looking at it.
That's the biggest problem i have with multiplayer in this game.

And sometimes the items are a bit buggy in multiplayer. Sometimes it dissapear.
The bugs it had before seems to been fixed but the item is in use is very weird.

I started to use 1 mod that allows me to build anywhere because i builded a camp and the fire would not be placed in it so therefore i use the build anywhere mod.
