xbox controller is not working correctly

game makes right stick just spin you in circles to the left

So i cant test it more out
control options is set to gamepad.

With other games the xbox controller is working fine so.

i allready let steam check the files and after that its still the same problem so...
any users have the same problem or solution.

My xbox controller isn't working now either. It was fine the day before, I've checked three other games and it's only this one that isn't working?

I also just uninstalled and reinstalled and that hasn't worked either so I don't know what is happening

I saw somebody in the bug report thread also somebody with the same problem. So its indeed the game.

I haven't opened the game in a few days so can't say if my controller is having this problem there was a patch released today - maybe that fixed your problems (although I don't see anything about this in the patch notes).

I have had a similar problem in other games before and one thing that would sometimes work is disabling / enabling steam gamepad configuration settings (i.e. if configuration was one, I would turn it off, or vice versa).

I'm getting that spin as well. I just bought the game. Is everyone waiting for a fix for this? This is ridiculous. I want to play with an Xbox gamepad, but if I can't, I'm getting a refund. Have you guys previously been able to play just fine with the Xbox controller?

I haven't started up the game in a few weeks so can't say if this is happening in my game also. I can say that this would be a new bug if it is happening to everyone - I've only ever played this game with an Xbox One controller and I've never had a problem with spinning in circles.

If I have time later this evening, I'll start up the game to see if my controller is working ok.

had same problem devs said to disconnect any other controllers plugged in restart steam i unplugged my hotas controllers and the gamepad is now working

I had the spinning issue, disconnected my warthog from their usb ports. Restarted the game and the spinning stopped.

you did that when you are in the game or did you do that when the was off

Okay so if u have a xbox controller download the xbox accessories app and update the controller I had the spin thing happen and once I updated it it works all gg I dont know for playstation but if there's a similar thing than thats what the problem is hope this helps to all
