Indestructible tree trunk

I am at my wits end. I've broken a stone axe, an obsidian axe, and another stone axe (the one made with 2 stone) on a bamboo trunk, and it's still there. Am I missing something? Do I have to commit arson to get rid of it? Pls halp.

My camp is at 52w 17s if that's relevant.

To clarify: Yes, I know that the huge trees are indestructible, and that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the ones you can cut down. Specifically, the bamboo tree stump.

All of them are like this I think

I've tried doing it to the other kind of choppable tree and it's the same thing

Palm seems to go away though (the trees where nuts grow)

I haven't had this problem playing the new map (SoA), so either something's changed, or it's limited to the old one(s).

When I get a chance, I'll test it on the new one.

So I finally remembered to test this. ;) Playing SoA, I had no problem destroying the bamboo trunk.

Fun fact: it's 2024 I'm playing survival and I searched it up because I also have an unbreakable trunk and whaddya know it's 52W 17S

There are quite a few of those in the game. Some of the bamboo and normal logs are unbreakable at Anaconda Island too. Same with some of the other locations with pre-built buildings.

You guys will never guess where I too found an indestructble bamboo stump...

I think the only tree trunks you can remove are, the trees you cut down yourself.
