many free arows aswell.
but i like fish camp the most, everything is close. animal, fruts.mushrooms, and alot of buildings mats.
and you can build your base on the river, 100% safe from attacks
Farket (Youtuber) watching his video earlier gave me the idea to do what he did. only a little different.
There are many places where you can build bases. What are you looking for? A big place? Safe spot? Everything around you ? Or some more difficult one?
In the new map, if you start at the main tribal camp and go directly east, there will be a small fishing hut near one of the many ponds. There's a flat area there that can fit a large camp. It's completely safe from predators and AIs. There's obviously the pond for fishing/spearfishing and mud bricks. The jungle south along the banks of the water has plenty of trees, herbs, and hunting. The jungle on the north side of the pond has a bamboo forest. It's also located fairly close to the center of the map. Of course, the main tribal village is just 20 seconds away, although I have no idea if that's important or useful in survival mode.
Oh, and the view from the fishing hut location is very beautiful as you're at the top of a waterfall with a nice view of the mountain range to the north. It's kinda hard to think of a downside to this location. Oh, maybe it's not very accessible in survival mode as you have to make quite a trek to get there. Gotta get the grappling hook and then travel to the drug camp (which is also a good camp spot), then go even further south and pass through the mountain range and then go even further south before you reach the lakes/ponds area. However, this is mostly true of anaconda island -- just gotta walk a different direction.
I've thought about anaconda island, but the extreme number of annoying animals there that just wont ever shut up is what keeps me from building there.
LOL! Parrots, amphibians, & mice, oh my. ^^
Mice and their constant squeaking
are the worst!
