Arachnophobia mode?
Hey there, I really love survival games, and games like this especially. My main issue is I have severe arachnophobia. It's to the point where I can faint or freak out from seeing a spider (even digitally). Are there any mods or modes to remove or change the spiders in the game? They just look creepy.

Example of how bad my arachnophobia is. When I was a young lad when I saw a skullata in ocarina of time as a kid. I freaked out and started clawing at my head until I bled. It's gotten better, but its still really bad... and with games getting better graphics ya'll aren't helping.

You can remove them yourself in the custom settings. Both the story and the survival mode allow you to create a custom game where you can turn off individual hazards. I always turn off the arachnids - don't like them either.

This makes me so very happy. It was the only thing keeping me from buying this game in the past, to be honest. I have mild arachnophobia, not as bad as yours, but I can relate. I don't like seeing them even in pictures and if I see one in real life I have to immediately get away. I make my wife get rid of any spiders lol.

Thanks for the info, Madbone!

Glad to help. While I do wish the custom settings allowed for a little more tweaking, I do like that the dangers can be turned off individually.

There are, you can unlock them later. Just need a Queen Bee and you have enough honey for yourself or your animals. Look for white dead trees, that's where they are hiding. Sometimes there is only wood resin, remove it and wait a few hours for the bees.
