Any age really but too young they wont have grasp on life yet Green Hell has an easy level now A Walk in the Park.That level would be good to teach young kids like 14 years old some of the basics skills of life, without realizing it many games like this teach young people how to deal with challenges and problem solving. Patience and thinking ahead.

What about the fact that natives attack? That you can gut them and eat their raw meat? Not to mention the terrible psychosis the protagonist gets from it. Seems even less child-friendly to me than the his constant cursing. No idea what your cultural environment thinks of cannibalism. XD

Those things are disabled in the " A walk a park " level , If you owned the game you would know that.
