Every time we start a new game it starts the days count again so I would have to count up all the new games I started.
But that wouldn't count as a game in one go :)
That's great 287 days survived in one game.
Find a new base lol and you could double it.
Updates can damage our old saves forcing a new game.
The oldest I currently have on my menu is not counting as a bug renamed it to Tutorial that one is 182 days for this one I reported the bug for it.

Edit,
Are you saying the trees do not grow back? wow does it look barren
Whats your co ordinates :)
Trees do not grow back, and yes, it does look barren. Main camp at Fish camp. Many others too and they all have the same situation. In order to get leaves for traps, logs, or long sticks... I have to travel. Little and big sticks are no problem. (of course I do have stock piles of all items, including long sticks. Check out my screenshots... a few piles are around)
Wish the trees and the small bushes, (leaf piles), would regrow. Other than that... I like it barren. I can see when a threat is coming.
I see a lot more trees and plants around my base.
I have one everywhere and my new base is now at the Village.
Ah ! you have a camp at the docks cool shot from the roof :)
Can you see any of my screenshots?
Edited:
Are you playing and old save?
Copy / cut out those saves to a new folder name it this base. start a new game you might find a lot more plants and trees now.
I have many folders from older saves i just put them back and test them.
I build enough to eat and stay alive make things look pretty and that's it. I only built 3 mud roll holders and about 6 frames on my home with two sheds and all the racks minus weapons and smoker. Then a furnace and forge with 2 chests. I had 3, Natives broke one. Oh and I have two mud filters. Just that took most of my wood in the area.
Dang yall went all out. I like your little camp by the Oasis Jaunitta. Also never would have though to build off the river there across from AC. Looking through yalls screens made me wonder did they take the spike trap out? Whats that used for? Ive never found it. I also have yet to build the smoker cause someone said it was glitched a while back, is it better than drying food? Also I saw Stonehenge so I guess that wasn't a faked image someone posted.
I went there couldn't find a way up so I left.
I'll take some shots at the drug lab... it's massive over there
Eagle, the Smoker is across from fish camp up on the bamboo hill. Not better than the dryer in my opinion for two reasons. One, it takes quite a while to smoke which means your fire must last a while... which might bring in tribesmen. Second, I personally use the dryer more than anything. No fire... no natives. Up to you really. I cannot remember the difference in quality of smoked meat vs. cooking/drying at the moment.
Spike trap is still in game and works wonders on them pesky tribesmen! I can't remember now how to make it pop up in the notebook now... omg! It's been a while... lol.
I'll get back to you on this
Spike Trap still working in my old old save, so you should be good. (Make a weak spear to unlock)
Now for the food. If you look at my most recent screenshots, you can compare the stats.
Nothing beats cooking anything, but it doesn't last very long. (not a problems with all the food running around)
Dryer, the best in my opinion. No fire, no crazy men breaking you stuff!
Smoker, you don't need a roof but you do need a long lasting fire.
Your choice really. Just have defenses up and ready, especially if you burn all day!!
LOL yeah I never make weak spears now wonder I never got the entry. I only did that once to see how it panned out in the walkie challenge. I have the smoker already I just havent used it since I wasnt sure about it after hearing a bug report about it when I first started playing.
Im gonna make the spike trap and see if it works on Natives since Ive heard they go around traps. Im doubtful.
eat mushrooms the orange cone shaped - blue mushrooms.
Make mushroom soup in a cocoanut bowl with clean water .
Those green looking pears as well.
I make a lot of bowls of different soup and stack them. They last for a few days.
