metal arrows really buggy

Anyone else having the same problem? Im crafting them and it says i have 7 then 8 and so on as i make them but they never show up in my inventory. When i pull out my bow, theres 2 arrows instead of 1, and it has the prompt to tell me to press e to pick up the arrow in my bow but when i press e nothing happens. also notice that sometimes when i shoot an animal i cannot pick the arrow back up. whats up w these new arrows?

Ok tested them just fine.
When I equip the bow the arrows in the backpack automatically load into the bow. Always has even with the old arrows.

I shot at a tree and the arrow is retrievable.

EDIT:

those interactive actions Press E are automatic whenever we hover mouse over any and all items.
You should be able to pick them up when backpack is open to move them to the mud storage or to drop on the ground.
If holding the bow it will be removed to backpack for that.
Replace with axe or knife then open your backpack and pickup arrow to shift to another place like storage.
You dont load them to the bow yourself by picking them up.
When shooting an animal that is not close by the arrow may kill it but then bounce somewhere you could look for it.

Thats not just metal arrows , arrows are very buggy in general all the things you said about the metal arrows are the exact same thing I experience anytime I make arrows and have a bow.
The Devs are very aware of the arrows problem and they say they are working on it so dont feel like you are the only one having problems. Believe me I know its annoying having an arrow stuck on your bow ontop of an arrow and then not being able to pick them up.

One of the guys in Discord taught me a trick. Look at the arrow stuck in the ground or target and click it and go to craft it will add the arrow back into your inventory.

If you have an arrow that get stuck in your bag Just dump all your arrows out and then shoot it with the bow :) lol. It works. Then you can pick it back up with craft if you have to.

Ah very nice thx. Yes that is exactly what i was talking about. Good to know the devs know about it and im not the only one having this problem. Thanks Eagle! I could post a screenshot Jaunitta if you still want me to but Eaglezero nailed the problem. I guess it hasnt happened to you yet and you are lucky! lol

You're welcome. Jauitta has a blessed game lol cause I tend to get alot of the bugs she doesnt seem to have. Like the wrong description for the cage trap and the arrows issue.

The arrows thing is so common with me that every other time I pull out the bow I have two arrows on it. Then today I was shooting at a native that was under the big shelter at abandoned camp and the first arrow fired and missed the second one looked like it fired and stopped in front of me then I moved and realized the arrow literally reversed direction as if fired at me and I was not able to pick it back up using the craft method.

I dont understand why I dont get these problems.
I have only had a couple of bugs recently the frame drops.
Played over 400 hours sweet as .

Maybe my system is better since I rebuilt replaced upgraded all the parts October last year.
I rolled back to windows 7 x64 prof. For starters. I have 2 systems one with W10 and now this main gamer pc
I have the original intel i5 3.4 GHz with 4 cores.
16 gig new ram.
New 1TB sata HDD cloned W7 to it
new 850w corsair power supply unit
new 1060 gtx gpu with 3 gig of ram
Very good airflow 6 case fans.
The system never uses much cpu ram playing GH, performance is great.
I really am sorry for everyone that has so many bugs how do we figure out what causes it.
Just lucky I guess.
I killed a peccy the pig one with one shot using the new iron arrow?? Lucky shot?
And finally that pesky goanna as well.

It wasn't a lucky shot nor was it because of the metal arrow, Jaunitta.
Based on your screenshot it was just a headshot, those are always instant kills. :)
