The story mode a walk in the park is the easiest level, requires skills in macro management look out for your fats proteins carbs and water needs. No sanity it is turned off.
Find food water build shelters.
There are no tribes but there is small predators such the usual snakes spiders scorpions stingrays piranha.
You can stop following the Story mode at any time build a base explore do all the normal things in Story mode same as the straight survival mode no story.
The advantage of starting in Story mode easy level is the extra access to all the new areas. New maps.
If you need help everyone who has played it are here to help you. :)
I played the normal story mode to be bitten by a rattlesnake after leaving the start area..
I love this game
Learning by doing ...
I suggest you the story ;)
-If want to know the lore behind why your in the amazon rainforest, play story.
-And if you just wanna play at your own pace, build, explore and learn to live in the rainforest, go for survival. (of course you can do all this in story mode, but i found i never took the time to build anything. The story had its grip on me and i was more focused on finding the next location and following the story.)
That doesn't happen to you in the forest.
This game has the best ai in a computer game for me.
The enemys are watching you and bring reinforcements if necessary.
It can happen wherever you lit up a fire source.
I beg to differ. AI is average at best but that's expected from a small studio since it is one of the areas where experience/years of development are necessary to get good at it.
I've never seen them calling for reinforcements.
Are you sure we are playing the same game?
later you can do a endless game in survival still.
so first story its like tutorial haha
