Modular building will also work but it will need to have a roof added in order for the save point to show up.

At these structures you are able to save.
The hut shelter, small shelter and small bamboo shelter are all starter blueprints. These will automatically be in your notebook once you have completed the tutorial. (they are under the house icon in the notebook, press the arrows at the bottom to flick over each page)
If these starter blueprints are not showing at the start of a new game, you may need to post in the bugs thread and send developers your game save file.
Other building blueprints need to be learnt first. You will need to explore the map to find those.
is written at the bottom.
No bed allows to save sorry.
Example of one shelter see at the bottom

2- it literally says in blueprins if you look at it "allows to save game" like literally says it idk what more of a "indicator" you need
Aim slightly above the shelter, the save action should prompt.
You'll kick yourself how you missed it

Previosuly been clicking on the shelter and sleeping.. "need to sleep for whole length?"
Really shouldn't be this irritating.
Had to come here in order to find out the sodding button is hovering, invisible, ABOVE the shelter. Why not in the same location as the 'sleep' icon, but via another button?!?!?!?!?
