Female characters?

It is a survival game, not Kitchen Simulator 2020. If we want to die instantly, we change the male charachter to female.

Currently the player character is male with no option to select female gender or any other customization features. When I tried Coop we both spawned as a bearded male with different colored shirts if I remember right.

I haven't played the story mode much, but from what I know of it: the plot is about a male protagonist searching for his missing female partner (I'm not sure if they're in a relationship or just professionally associated - I wasn't paying close attention really.) so Single Player Story Mode probably won't have a female gender available due to the way the plot is written.

For SP Survival Mode and Coop Survival Mode it would seem reasonable to add gender selection options or even some basic character customization! Besides since the game features a female character in the story mode, they already have a model they could use rather then having to make a female player character model from scratch. Other players have been asking for this, so hopefully the gender selection option will eventually be added!

Talking about fairness, when are game developers going to let people play as non-binary muslims? It's always all about those privileged cisgender bearded strong white men...

On a serious note, a lot of people ask for female characters in some games where the purpose is not to customize your character, as they are not RPGs. I wouldn't mind though I really don't give a damn about who I play

how do you even know if hes a man, might be a trans. no one knows just kidding, they definetly gota add an female character soon but it wouldnt be useable for the story maybe...

Point taken. Since the female character does exist in game it would be nice to add it to coop/survival. Ofc it wouldn't make sense in storymode, but that wasn't asked for anyways.

"i don't give a damn" yet you're here whining about people's preference. The SJW non-binary stuff is not related to male/female option at all. You must be missing some brain cell if you can't tell the difference between a girl who wants to play her own gender, and somebody who wants to play a made-up gender.
