Poisonous frogs.

I wonder why I can just grab those venomous frogs like blue, yellow, red, orange frogs but I cannot just grab grey/green toad?!
I just wonder as this makes no logic sense.

This is no ordenary frog, it's Phyllobates terribilis or commonly called Poisonous dart frog and it's skin is poisonous.

No, "its" is correct.
"It's" is a contraction for "It is". Always. It is never NOT a contraction.

"Its" is a possessive form for "It". Please don't try to correct someone when you barely speak English.

First off: Is this a grammar forum? I must have missed something. There is no language requirement here, I can post in Swedish if I want to. English is my forth language and I'm sorry if my grammar offend you but honestly that is your problem not mine.

Secondly: That was direct and popper information to OP why it's realistic to be poisoned if you touch the frogs.

Yes I have read steam forum guidelines and... Perhaps you also should? There is a section there about pointing out grammar.... And No there is nothing about langues. Already talked with one of Steams moderators about that, lets say I won that discussion.

If we can just get back to the toxic frogs and the inability to catch toads in the game, we can get this discussion moving forward. It's great that there is such a passion over this issue. It's a shame that Green Hell, with all of its flaws, does not let you catch toads. Let's come together on this one thing and see if we can make a change for the benefit of all.

But I never said that I do not understand why I am getting sick by picking them up :) I know exactly that there are poisonous frogs but this was not my concern at all.

Yes good point :) That was the subject from the beginning. Thanx for reminding it to others :D

As for English it is also not my first language and we all can make mistakes in grammar even someone who's native language is English.

Someone mentioned it already that in story mode there is time where character picks up frog.
But topic is about why toad cannot be picked also. Earlier I had no idea that in story mode it is a thing combined to story so this is cleared now.
I did not play story mode yet. I prefere to learn survival on my own in games without tutorials and spoilers. But also game had many bugs and still have bugs that prevents me from wanting to play story mode. On top of that I heard it is very short story mode which is disappointing and making me postpone playing story mode.

Poison dart frogs get their name from the fact that indeginous tribes use their toxic secretions to poison the tips on their blowdarts. Not because they inject the toxins into your body. :)
