Poisonous frogs.

I wonder why I can just grab those venomous frogs like blue, yellow, red, orange frogs but I cannot just grab grey/green toad?!
I just wonder as this makes no logic sense.

Have you ever seen a cane toad in real life? They're big, loud, disgusting, release venomous foam and are most certainly too large to hold in your hands without killing them.

The smaller frogs, however, are tiny and easy to pick up, obviously despite the dangers. And you are punished for not paying attention to those dangers, too.

Toads in game are normal sized toads. Had many in my hands nothing dangerous.
Read what I wrote earlier. Those deadly ones should also be not pickable then or sshould be hold to pickup as they are deadly! I see you are the one who would grab them in real life.

I can literally say a "no u" to this comment and be valid. Your manner of behaviour on this thread is evidence enough to me that you don't actually want a response or solution, just people to troll and be rude to.

I already explained why we have these coloured frogs and a hand appears on them.
As for the toads I agree with Kosm1czny.
I live in Australia where the gov imported these toads from the Amazon in the hopes they would eat the cane beetle in Far North QLD but they didnt and as they breed nonstop our country is rife with them now and toads will eat everything.
The Gov should be held responsible for the damge they cause to our small wild life..
I wrote to Creepy Jar at Discord about the use of the word Toads and could they chamge it to frogs as I absolutely hate Toads.
I have also asked why the coloured frogs are included from the Story mode.
They are too busy to remove them.
All we can do is pass it around so the players that havent played Story mode understand.

@princess toads come in many sizes. Some large small. Females usualy small. Can fit in the hand no problem. The GH frogs are just that GH frogs

I think it makes sense.

Game is created, story mode is made. Bam, it's all cool. Now players want more. Survival mode? Sure!

Why would survival mode have changed rules like "Oh, frogs don't spawn now", even though they're a vital clue that leads you in on their location. If it weren't for survival, I wouldn't even know what the frogs did for when I played story.

It's like this simply because this is how the game was made, and arbitrarily changing it for survival doesn't make any sense at all. There are, as clued in by them being "too busy", far more important details to change in the game.

Princess you do realize Creepy Jar just released Co op. Thats a huge free upgrade.
Next is achievements after fixing any bugs from Co op.
Once they have met the main Road Map then they will have time ti start fixing things they have truely listened to the players wishlists and what they want. They are not too busy to fix things they are too busy working with all the content coming. Please refer to the RoadMap

I watched few videos with Ed Stafford and they are ok and informative. I like how in discovery version they show how much each his meal contains calories, proteins etc. He seem to be alone on his journey but is that making him better than Bear Grylls? IMO not really. Both are interesting to watch but I think Grylls knows more about survival and is less hesitating to eat weird food xD
Grylls have crew with him so he can show us way more dangerous things.
But as for now I did not bump into video where any of them would hunt for frogs... Or I just do not remember seing it. But I found some interesting channel about survivalism. It is in tropic forest! Guy there shows many traps for animals. But it is cut into parts and fast scenario change and it is only thing I do not like. But he seem fine to survive this tropic environment. And also as for now I did not see him hunting for frogs and toads xD

This is no ordenary frog, it's Phyllobates terribilis or commonly called Poisonous dart frog and it's skin is poisonous.
