Controller Issue

So, just got this game and was fiddling with the controls prior to playing and come to find out the only thing that doesn't work is the movement. I can't move.

I can look around and use all the other controls, but I cannot move. What gives?

My Controller works... but it's so unconfortable that I gave up and gone back to the mouse.
Let's say "it takes too much time to reach and pick up what you need".

But really, they MUST remove that "GAMEPAD DETECTED" at the start.
Let it be an OPTION in the... OPTIONS.

i dont even own a gamepad, i only have a keyboard and mouse connected, yet everytime i load this game i get the message GAMEPAD DETECTED, very annoying.

Change the options to point to M&K
If a gamepad is being detected then you must have one connected lol

Bought the game today, wanted to give it a try tonite.
My controller does not work either. I can't look around nor move, but I can punch...
Main menu works OK, but when reaching the Coop part of it, the controller begins to not respond at all... like i can't even push A to accept or B to close... The "Green Hell' configuration is loaded up, which is weird.

Cant revert back to M&K, cause nothing works in the menu now... Let just say the game has broken the moment I chose the controller option...

SO once you choose controller how do you switch it back to keyboard and mouse? I got to switch to keyboard and mouse but there is no way to hit accept to make the change happen. Until this is fixed I can't seem to play this game.

It was impossible for me to switch it back either.
Many months have passed, it doesnt seem to be fixed yet, sad....

I know the only way to fix is to ininstall then reinstall the game trying that now. Nope its still on the controller with no way to switch back to keyboard after reinstalling it. Com on guys whats the deal!

I as well bought this game today and I cant open the notebook using a ps4 controller. The game says it fully supports gamepad controls which is clearly a lie or can only suppor xbox controls in which im out $25 and a great gaming experience and there seems to be nothing that can or will be done about this.

Hey, so my gf had the gamepad problem where she only has a mouse and keyboard but the game forces her to play on a controller, even though she doesn't have one. Well, we seemed to have found a solution. If you unplug the keyboard and leave the mouse plugged in, the game with not detect a gamepad so it will default to mouse and keyboard. Then just plug back in the keyboard and it should be back to normal, or at least that worked for us.

My game won't let me past the gamepad detected screen... It shows that I am clicking it and I feel like I have tried everything. Up until now it worked fine.

I use a Logitech G13 with all of my games and I guess Green Hell considers that a gamepad. Ok, fine...I don't need to be asked every darn time I start the game if I want to use it! Please put that in the options and stop pestering me with it!
