Harvesting Coconuts
When you harvest them it only cuts them in half... is there a purpose for the halved coconuts with the meat still inside? Why harvest them twice that seems redundant and a waste of time... unless there is a purpose for leaving the meat in, that would be interesting?

Hi!

So in your opinion, you should pick up coconut, drink the milk, harvest it and the shells should go straight to the next backpack tab and coconut flesh automatically harvested? Harvesting the flesh from coconut is additional feature, like hitting green coconut to get brown one.

it's annoying read these post, want everything easy and after say the game is boring. This game need additional feature, it's a survival game not minecraft

I think the way we harvest coconuts is very realistic, it's pretty much how you would do it in the real world.

Try playing Survisland in that game mechanics you have to make a drill and a hammer a slate to do the work on first before you even get to drink it. Drill a hole in the coconut first that's nuts.
Pun intended.
The mechanics here is simple and pretty straight forward.
We can choose to remove the green shell first then pickup from there. Drink harvest etc.

No in real world you peel for a while, then find way to inject rum and straw.

You don't need to harvest them twice. Once you have the coconut halfs in your inventory, you can just eat them (no need to harvest again) and only the empty shells will remain. You can use those for collecting water or just destroy them.
Before you complain about bad mechanics I'd rather suggest that you try to open your eyes and figure out how things work in this game.
Don't blame the game or even the devs for your lack of brain.

it gets annoying though going to 3 parts of the back pack just to fully harvest a nut

yes, it seems redundant, unless there is a gameplay element or a reason. Immersion is good but tabbing into different parts of the backpack looking for that pesky coconut is both immersion breaking and time wasting.

I have to agree with this sentiment. Going through a three step process is really annoying and clunky.

The only problem I've had with it is accidentally cutting the coconut in half before I get to drink that sweet, sweet hydrating nectar. Always makes me go rock-hurling at palms to get a do-over. I can imagine in a real-life situation, it'd be much more difficult to root out a coconut from your backpack, shuck the stupid thing, then crack it in half without spilling it all over yourself, so I'm cool with a little bit of a process to get it done in game. It seems fair.
