Items to use in making metal iron weapons and tools
Great game so far even in development since i bought the game many months ago.
I check if there's been any updates when i get a chance.
However the recent up dates with patch mud building i found that sticks and stone blades in the mud moulds with melted iron ore for crafting, but still can't find a duel item for the iron axe head mould. Made spear, and pick axe, also Armor so far. But having trouble for metal axe and arrow heads pairing items to make moulds.
I'm Sorry... Unless the developers are working on that now and i'm a head of my self in the simulator survival game.
Fantastic great game.
Any hints? Thanks!

Don't know if you figured it out yet, but for arrowheads you simply put an ordinary arrow together with melted iron in your mould, this will give you three arrowheads.

You said you already made metal armor. What do I need for that?

A commentor on this video says it's the simple stone axe (stone+stick) that makes the axe blade mold (unverified).

I can confirm this. You'll need the simple axe, as trulyzonked said, for making an axe head mould.

If you need mould + iron + arrow for metal arrowhead what you will need for a metal armor? Maybe mould + iron + armor?

Very clever. But there are at least 4 types of armor, so my question was about which of them I need. Since you need a simple axe to make a mould for an axe blade and it doesn't work with any other kind of axes I think my question is not as stupid as you're obviously thinking.

I just tryed, fail with armadillo, success with bone but i think also stick armor will work. You can craft metal bars (just 2 at one) and need to add cordage and banana leaf again, you'll need more than 4 stamps for a full metal armor start prepared.

See? This is why I asked.

I'm still trying Metal Axe and figured out Tin Can's at the jetty. But it takes a while trying to find raw Iron in caves that i've already mined and diminished and checked until i forget to bloody flaming save game before i get eaten by man eating jaguar cat geewizz!!!. But Realistic and Awesome!!! :-)
And notice cats hate water and if your health is low, go too a creek and the cat will not cross it or go in it if chaste.
Depending on the game story line and development weather they make or add iron that re-spawns or not it all depends.
However people are trying figure out metal armor....Well you need 3 iron bars + banana leaf and keep adding rope to make it for your questions.

The raw Iron in caves does respawn in the same way as fruits and herbs do. If you found some iron you just mine it, bring it to your camp and store it there or smelt it, whatever you want. Return to the cave and there will be new iron. But that mechanic is the same as with bananas for example. You need to go away from the point a certain distance and it will respawn faster.

Metal Axe: the mould you need can be crafted with stone axe (1 stone + 1 stick). Put it in the mould together with smelted iron and you will have your mould for a metal axe blade.

I find everything useless, don’t see any difference between basic stone tools and iron tools except the big waste of time. Most of the time Also i did’t use the armor because every 5 min I need to remove it for check parasite. Predators and animal in general can be easily oneshotted also by wooden arrow or stone spear.

You're right in general. But it seems to me that you have an advantage if you are attacked by trybals. I fell like I can kill them faster with metal arrows than with wooden ones. That seems to be the only difference. O, and if you shoot at animals and you miss the head and hit somewhere in their body it seems to me that they bleed out faster. Maybe I'm wrong but this is my impression so far.

Hint: you don't need to remove your armor to check for leeches. You only need to make it invisible, that's all.

Maybe you are right about bleeding, when natives attack me usually i need 1 or 2 arrows, they die very fast
