it removes all enemy Tribes, and hostile roaming creatures like Jaguars, Caimens, ect. snakes and spiders still remain but there more avoidable, survival elements are still there, so you need to watch your Fats, carbs, ect, the downside is with larger animals being removed is you've lost a good meat source, but other passive animals still roam around so there good for meat. And Sanity is removed so there's no worry about eating food that would normally give negative sanity points. its a good mode for exploring and building
