Carbs: Banana Not Spawning

I played for an hour recently, and I never survive 3 days as I couldn't find enough carb-based food. The tomato provide barely carbs and they grow only 2-3 days, so I run out of carbs fast. Therefore, bananas have always been the main source of carbs, but for some reason they won't spawn in my game. I wait three days, check day or night, shine or rain but to no luck.

keep in mind soem areas will have banannas more so then others

to keep people from farming and takeing advanatge to each node thats destroyable in span of 3 days a random generated node will take its spot ....

to bypass this cut all trees and growth wait 3 days and see if a new treee appeard if not repeat this allows you to force grow spawns ...to find the nodes that spawn mark the new spots with a ghost structure :) simple

ull have to cut everything down theirs no real way to farm except for in this manner

now on the contraryy to this
mushroom farm - take a few mushrooms only they will mass spawn like a fungus consuming the log
birdsnest - they will mass spawn eggs
coconuts- their are spots that produce continuous coconuts
maggots- if in log they will mass produce leave a few

Look at the logs tree trunks laying aroung those orange and semi white mushrooms also give good carbs. The brazilian trees blue mushrooms.
If you see cocoanuts trees you can throws stones up to make them drop.
Learn to be aware of poitners on the land, your surreoundings trees and land elevation.

I alway fourd carbs the easiest to fill,
But you have to be on the move, learn to recognize eadible plants:
so far I found:

the orange tomato,
the green spiky anti parasite fruit
bananas
heart of palm
coconuts (you can also roast the flesh for bonus sanity)
pretty much all mushrooms are edible, expept the big one that grows on the floor, but boil it and you can eat it
there are two bulbs that give 50+ carbs when eaten, cook em to avoid food poisonning, the (cassava is the easiest one to spot and gives the most carbs in the game (60 if I remember right))
honey, like stated above, from wasps and bee nests (trow rocks at the nest if you have no fire)
the big bush with the BIG leaves will sometimes spawn a fruit or a flower, the fruit is edible but the flower is not, both gives carbs, the fruit also gives proteins

then in case of emergency:
medicinal plats also give few carbs, ex: lilly, but its like 2-4 carbs some will give you food poisoning, (tobaco, bandage plants)
you can also eats leaves, but will get food poisonning
Brazilian nut are a insane source of Fats, but also give carbs.

Don't be scared to experiment, if you get poisoned, just eat charcoal or the reddish leaves plant, (the flower isn't edible) bone brew is also an anti-poison

i found out that spawning is in some bond to player activity or buildings...i builded huts in banana areas and even without loading bananas got fruit...i have more than i can eat now...same with Monstera Deliciosa in that areas...empty plants are full now and also Raffia Palm giving nuts

If you take all the bananas from the plant the peduncle will fall out. Always leave at least one so that others will spawn faster

Oh I agree with that. I'm actually testing this staying in one of my camp I made across from Anaconda Island south end to the left is a banana plantation I eat only a couple of banana from there , lots of small Banana plants growing want to see how long and if they do mature.
I would also think that the game developers keep in mind to make the players search for different food types and not become reliant on easy bananas. Explore their options.

I am okay on fat and protein, just need carbs. Still having the issue where banana won't spawn, so I am forced to look for more lower-rewards and higher-risk carbs.

Reloading your current save can respawn bananas

Had the same problem with fats recently. It seems sometimes stuff just stops spawning. Close the game,restart and load your save.
