First of all its a laptop (which are in most cases not for gaming although they can run it)
It has intergrated graphics which is also a bit less better then a desktop, and ur CPU speed is kinda low for this type of game. Imagine that they throw even more in it in the future.
16 GB ram is enough but also that can be different.
for example 2x 16 GB modules at 1333 Mhz is worse then 2x 8 GB running at 3600 Mhz.
Also the speed between ur components are important. One can have a very good RAM with high Mhz but if the motherboard don't allow it then it's useless.
But it should run. Not smooth tho. If you have a desktop somewhere, i would use that one.
A good laptop that can run it fine is kinda expensive, like the Predator laptop. But who has that :P
Thank you very much for the detailed response. I did use can you run it.com and everything came back green except for the GTX 940m Graphics card. and sadly this is the only laptop i have at the moment, until i can start to build a PC that can be able to play the game i just have no room for it. but I've been wanting to play this game since it came out. i guess i could always buy the game and download it and see if it is very laggy or not. Thank you again for the response.
Enjoy the game :)
Don't trust too many sites where u can see if it can run wheter or not. Those things are always a bit tricky as it doesn't say Mhz, but just RAM for example.
Mhz is even more important then the amount of RAM, also dual channel (it is named different now i dont remember, XMP or something) is very important.
My guess it has something to do with that because when u save, the screen blurs, or faded out and when u save it has to come back and that can give a peak in ur CPU, GPU, whatever he needs and can lock up the whole system or just the game. If your pc/laptop is still working but the game doesn't then for sure it's your GTX 940m
That is what i think what happened.
GTX 940m get's his peak and BOOM it shut something down.
CPU is not the issue here and the RAM of 16 GB is fine too, i think ur higher then 1333 Mhz so my guess that ur ram is also okay. Leaves you with the GTX 940m, that site was kinda correct tho, did the site also said something likem you can run it but can gives hickups or something like that?
Also PSU can sometimes be a problem, but that is more for desktops which u don't have, but also that don't give you 600 watt minimum.
If you found the issue (if there was any), let us know :)
We are all helped with that.
And no thanks:) glad i can help somehow.
