Thank you. I just recently got this the game and was honestly worried if the cats were going to be coming right into camp all the time.
they can i got killed first time i met one
but turns out the cats are very easy to kill and are dumb ai
if you stand on a ledge or large rock the cat will stand still and not move
then go for a spear headshot
Thank you, I will most certainly watch out for them in the future. I have since moved camps to the over by the fishing camp. I have only seen one cat over there so far and it seemed a fairly safe distance. Hasn't come near camp yet. :)
I am not sure if their AI were programmed to become curious about Fire, and walk up to it to get a bit burnt, on purpose! As cats and animals in the wild do stupid things like this; as we once did when we were early Humans. And still do... as early human toddlers!
That is interesting. I have noticed over several days in that tribal village this cat seems to be very curious about the fire and has interacted with it several times now both lit and unlit. I watched it walk up to the unlit fire sniff around and walk off.
Haven't got a chance to play around with it too much as I later left and moved to the Anaconda Island the cat there doesn't seem to be able to go across the bridge.
Very cool. ^^ I was unaware of these behaviors in the Big Cats.
