Too many coconut shells! Recycling addition?
Once you get 7+ days of survival the coconut halves, bones, and some other materials like feathers are litering the ground and piling up in heaps. I really need a way of recycling all my crap! could we get an option to burn the coconut halves down to ash or something? or if not recycling maybe a new storage box we could build or something. I have like hundreds of shells lagging the game!

Also sidenote: perhaps some animals could provide fats, right now it's basically just coconut innards and strange nuts. I feel like maybe some of the mammal animals could provide a small amount of fats. just a thought.

Anyways awesome game love Green Hell!

Peccary and Capybara meat gives you fats, also you get bones from them, so you can boil bones and get +10 fats.
Cooked scorpion meat give you +10 fats.
Feathers burn better that sticks when you need a fire going. As for coconut halves. Well yeah that's on the wishlist and the bug list. :) Trust me. I avoid using coconuts because of the problem. Probably the worst problem in the game for me personally. :)

we should be able to burn the shells for charcoal... and use it for BBQ :)

You still have a lot of extra coconut shells laying around, maybe a function to store soup in containers and harvest empty coconut shells as tinder etc.
Sorry guys our dreams of coconut flooring, housing, bras, horses will have to stay on the wishlist for now.

They just released a new update where you can right click and select destroy, not a perfect solution, but definitely a good alternative to having them clutter up your camp :)

Throw them down a hill, I usually throw them at the village of tribe people to upset them

What is Creepy Jar's standpoint on this? Destroy context menu option can only get you so far.

It might just be a temporary solution until they find better ways to utilize some of the stuff, it's definitely better than nothing :)

I'm hoping it is a stop gap. I do kinda wish I could throw them at the natives. I want my coconut cannon. I've you live out in the jungle long enough you should be able to make saltpeter using your urine and dry leaves. Extract your sulphur from eggshells. Charcoal is a no brainer. Grind it all up with one of those surplus bowls. Hollow out a log, wind it with vines. Dump in your powder, add in a banana leaf for wadding and fill with a coconut and some rocks. Aim at the nearest camp, light with a really, really long torch and BOOM! Coconut cannon.
Yeah, I have too much spare time waiting for applications to compile and blackbox test.
