Best chopping tools

I've tried to find out which are the best chopping tools and have compiled my results in the table below :)
To get the most accurate results, I made sure that my energi bar was full and all tools haven't been used before.
I also chopped the exact same tree(those that give logs) and reloaded the game between my attempts.

I know that some tools may be better for different tasks or combat, but overall it seems like the cheapest is the worst and the most expensive aren't really much better leaving the Axe and Obsidian Axe as the best chopping tools, well at least for trees :)

The higher your skill is, less hits and stamina it takes. I use obsidian axe and it takes me 5-6 hits to cut a tree, skill is on 40 something as i recall.

Yes that is why I chose to include the skill level I currently had, it seems like the obsidian axe is equally as good as an axe made of 1 stone blade, there might be a difference in durability between them, I didn't check for that, but what surprised me the most was the the expensive blade axe was so poor in efficiency, perhaps it is better as a weapon :)

Yes, just harder to get and finite to make. Dont know why is it that way, havent tested damage on natives between stone and obsidian axe, but spears do same damage to them so I guess it's same for axes. The obsidian bone blade that drops from hunters is actually very good weapon for fighting natives and cutting plants, plus you get it on 100% durability every time.
