Bamboo smoker

How the hell do you use this thing? I cannot seem to place the fire under it.

Also is there a recipe for crafting campfire or do you just do small fire the whole time?

I was about to ask the same thing. I put campfire under the smoker, light it and put some meat on and I waited a long time and nothing happen to the meat.

The meat has went waay beyond expiry and still no changes to it. Has it been implemented yet? Or is it bugged?

As to campfire, I got it unlocked when visiting one of the camps. Not sure which one tho

I used a small fire under the smoker and it worked perfectly.

I had an issue like that and the only reason it didn’t work is because the fire wasn’t perfectly placed under the smoker. Maybe try placing a new fire again

Look for free space and place small fire first. That worked for me every time.

I see. I did things backwards. I built the smoker first, then I built the campfire. Lesson learned.

After the updates the smoker magically worked without me changing anything to it. Smoked meat can last up to four days. They're great!

What worked for me:
I build small fire, over it the bamboo smoker - didnt work, but :
-saved the game - loaded the save - WORKING !
