Linux?
Hello... The title is very much explanatory, I think.

I'd LOVE to buy this game for Linux. This is exactly the type of game I'd like to have in my library. And hopefully, a lot of other Linux users think the same.

Thank you in advance for any feedback the developers would like to give on the subject.

+1 for a native version, although it runs without any issues through Proton / Steam Play

If there will be interest of the game, we will work on other systems.

+1 Linux

Linux is supported with Unity + Godot and older builds of UE4

If your game or engine supports
- OpenGL 4.x or Vulkan graphics API +
SDL2 + OpenAL,its 90% being linux comptable

Whats the magic Number for you to consider supporting Linux ?
100 ?
1000 ?
10k ?
We reached out to Creepy Jar back in mid-May but I never posted the reply.

"We are using Unity 2017 engine. At this moment there are no plans for Linux port."

The engine looks more like UE4 over Unity 3D. Both the graphics and visuals are stunning. Which gives off an Ark kind of feel.

Here's hoping the dev's change their mind.

Unity SUPPORTS LINUX
eg 7D2D, they are making headway with Vulkan support on Linux using UNITY

More than half in this discussion have already bought it and are playing it on Proton...

No longer a need for a port...

+1 for Linux :lunar2019wavingpig:

I want to play this very nice game with LINUX too! It is playable until the 32nd day when we should find mia, then the screen will be black and the new sequence should load! But nothing happend! The screen stays black and unfortunately nothing more happens.

It's a shame but a very good approach under LINUX! Maybe it would be playable if this BUG was fixed when changing the sequence ... who knows :steamhappy:

Or you're missing some cut scene fixes as described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQx9oWmjlgI

I would definitely buy the game if a linux port was made. Before someone says use wine, no I will not as I do not was to risk the possibility of windows viruses getting on my system.

+1 for Linux. Proton is great, but native is always better :-) I would buy it when a Linux version is available.

With Steam Deck on the horizon this might become a priority next.

Hey just being a real Necromancer here and wonder how people play this on Steam Proton ? Any luck difficulties?

And as for me I love how Linux doesn't "bog" my laptop with unnecessary bloatware and is so crisp and responsive !
No need to upgrade in an endless loop, weird licenses and etc. Think the reason linux is seemed "slower" then windows is due companies boycotting it thanks to MS fundings etc. If everyone realized the alternative to Windows, imagine their stockmarket going down, they won't allow it !
