switching between metal and standard arrows

Is it possible to switch between metal and standard arrows when both types are in the backpack? I can't seem to find out how to do that. Apparently the standard arrows are default, or whatever was in the backpack first? I'm not sure.

I'd like to shoot fish and birds and stuff with standard arrows, and use the metal ones if I am attacked by tribespeople. If it isn't possible to switch right now, please consider adding this feature! Thank you.

That one you should add to the wishlist I think everyone will agree with that. We need the option to switch arrow stack.

Probably the easiest is to drop the metal arrows for a moment.
Then it defaults to the arrows.
