Exactly what plants regrow or respawn?
I know that trees never regrow. I know that bamboo seems to regrow, same with the various types of herbs and flowers.
However do the various bushes, like the small broadleaf and fern plants you can destroy, regrow?

So far I know these regrow:

Vines
Herb plants
Fruit plants
Flowering plants
Bamboo

Thanks, I already looked on the wiki, however it does not mention the re-spawning on several of these plants, that I looked at.

However I did find that the plant that I was interested in was a young banana tree, the kind that does not give fruit.

I suppose because it is a tree it will never regrow.

BTW, do you know how long it takes bamboo to grow? I've just gotten to day 20 and its been about 15 days and I still do not see them regrowing...

Do I have to leave and go somewhere else for a while for them to regrow?

Same, I have never actually seen bamboo regrow as I cut sparingly.
Regrowth used to take a year or a full season.
It starts out with bunch of thin small long bamboo sticks which eventually grow into the larger.
One day you notice how thick the area is after a full season, it helps keeping your base in one place where bamboo grows for a long time.
Stop cutting it down and watch.
There is tons of small sticks on the ground. Even long sticks.
I mainly use the dryer- smoker and charcoal from the charcoal burner to keep my fires going. Ropes, dry leaf, chacoal is the best to replenish it.
Just put your fire out before it burns out and just replenish it.
Use a bideon of dirty water to douse it.
