It was the same with our ancestors long time ago - and a little bit later there've been crazy guys like Bach, Beethoven, AC DC etc. doing quite the same, just a little bit more developed. :D
There is also a village near at 47W 17S (Use your watch to find your coords)

You WANT them to attack your camp? If you're at the canoe camp you're close to 2 villages, but they won't reach canoe camp very often. Just once in the 80 days I spent there, but they'll be there eventually. My first encounter was when 4 of them came and slaughtered me while I was cooking at canoe camp. Since then I've been on a mission to exterminate them, starting with the loner who lives on the other side of the river.
The odd thing is that it's always followed by what sounds like a real bird call. I wonder if future updates will modify these sounds to be somewhat more varied and random.
