I'd give you a co ordinates but they could grow anywhere. It takes time to adjust the mind's focus to specific plants when a beginner surrounded by many things including tribes and snakes spiders.
Whats your coordinates? Or base camp?
I have 4 bases and I find the Abandoned Village seems to have more Molinaria , tobacco, unknown herbs than the others.
46'W 26'S - Abandoned camp near river with hammock.

The dry season may reduce them look in the area with more large rainforest trees or near rivers and waterfalls. They grow like a foilage with many other small shrubs.
Save game and exit to menu then exit game .
Exitting can GH respawn plants and fruits.
good luck

Check around the back of the shack at fishing dock they like to grow there and to the left of there.
If you are down by the crashed plane check the open platform area across from where the stone wall ends there's usually one there. Anaconda Island area surrounding seems to always have some somewhere.

same boat, got bit by a snake, spent the next 15 minutes looking for a single plant(on the 3rd day with no plants) and then died

Remember to always keep a bunch of them with you. If you fold them into bandages they will take a smaller space in your backpack and you can stack them up to seven.

What you learn is to procure the plants first before you ever get your character going and build a nice shelter Procure those needs get you at minimum one tabacco bandage that you carry at all times, 2 normal bandages Lily is option since rash kinda just goes away but it can help to carry one since it does constantly drop sanity and you may already be low. Goliath bandage is the best but it doesnt work on snake bite. I also recommend once you have you location set up for camp to cook 1 bowl of the Amaretta something the red thorny plant to make a brew to fight fever in the event your bit.

I've got the same issue. The Molineria Plant is too rare. I die every time 'cos of a bite and don't have any bandedges. It's the only thing i'm looking for. I walk between Fishing dock - Jeep- Broken Bridge. If I'm lucky I'll find one or MAYBE two. I'm playing on medium dificulty.

Uh this plant is every were..... you just need to use your eyes better or your game world is jacked. I'm on day 50 and I have close to 3 full mud chest of honey bandages my base is at the boat dock the plant spawns in 4-5 spots right near my camp. but I always pass by this plant when im far out hunting villagers and cats away from my base I use them to break down into fibers for my camp fires now to the point I dont use dry leafs.

In the region where you are there are plenty more than one or two molinerias. You need to be more attentive for yourself and for your surrounding. As you described you die a lot because of bites and you don't have bandages... Well, the best thing to do is to avoid those bites. It's quite simple: just open your eyes and ears for whats around you. Spiders and snakes can be heared before you see them. Don't rush trough the jungle. Keep quiete, move on slow or normal speed and listen to every noise around you. This helps you to avoid getting poisoned in first place.
And for the molinerias: just open your eyes, there are a lot of them.

imy camp is at the oasis, i know three spots now. survived 2 worms and a scratch. location is really safe aslong as you're careful with your fire. only killed 1 native and no others to be seen. living of the meat i catch in traps and the fruit around me.

Good to hear that you got settled down meanwhile. :)
What oasis do you mean? The one near to the fishing docks? Maybe you rather should move to the docks, I'd suggest. There are a number of molinearia spots close to the docks (which maybe spawn tobacco and other herbs as well). But one of the greatest benefits from the docks is the hammock. Since you mentioned wormes I highly recommend to change your sleeping habits. Try to sleep in a hammock and you'll never get any worm ever again. I used to have my base camp there for a long time and I think it's a very good place to settle. You have the river where you can build a few fish traps. Just the simple traps built with a number of sticks. It feeds you quite well. If you'd like to spice up your daily meal with some meat: no problem, there are a good number of peccaries in the close surrounding. You also find some banana trees in the close neighbourhood and there are a number of those tiny orange fruits located nearby. Across the river you can find a turtle roaming around - long story short: I think the docks is one of the best places to set up a bigger camp and survive there forever with no issues.
Oh, I almost forgot: I settled there for more than 70 days in one gameplay and not even one single native showed up. Not even one! Though, there are a few of them sitting across the river and singing from time to time - but you don't need to go there and fight them, right?
Maybe you give the docks a try. I'd like to hear how you liked it there. :)

And if you've any trouble or questions, you're always very welcome to ask for help. :)

the one with the waterfall near the abandoned camp, the worms are from when i fell asleep on the ground cause of the lack of protein
Capuzzi09 Aug 7, 2019 @ 5:05am
Okay, now I know where you are. Maybe you try the abandoned camp instead? There's also a Hammock there which I usually enjoy pretty much. :)
I's also quite peaceful there, I was attacked by tribals only once there and I'm not really sure if it wasn't me who provoked them somehow. A jaguar every now and then but those are easy to fight: aim to the head and a single spear will be enough.
Ok, sleeping on the ground accidently is usually a reliable way to catch a few worms. :D

Have fun surviving. :)
