honestly natives got shadow nerfed this patch anyway they dont spawn often and as long as you know how they work are ez to avoid
so you read random info on a game and decide it sucks? game is not boring there is ZERO RNG as the map is fixed
and there is little to no back-tracking
in general reviews/forums are not good sources of info and this post proves it the game is neither repetitive with a lot of backtracking or about natives destroying stuff
to also answer this i have 108 hours played and only 1 time have natives ever ever actually attacked my camp and even then its not like they did any "real" damage i took em out
besides if you hate the idea of native attacks that much then just disable them theres options for that easy
When GH starts select a level then customization.
Or play the A walk in the park no natives no big predators ever.

Alternatively build dryers to replace fires. If you start a fire douse it with dirty water when done. Saves making it again but deters tribes.
Recommend everyone new to this game start the easy level A Walk in the Park
Played over 600 hours of joy.
Steady on there Captain you would be surprised how old some of the players are.
Besides there are those who just love the rain forests and want to get away from the world with no violence.
The wonderful devs here on GH really try to please everyone . :)
I guess its just preference to decide if you want natives active or not when your starting out.
