Bandage Issue

I can't seem to apply bandages anymore. The little white dot is missing on my wounds. It was fine before the lasted update. Any idea?

All I can suggest is that you start a new game? If you were playing of an old save that is?

Basic bandages may not work on snake bites predator bites.etc.
Harvest tobacco, unknown herbs and craft to basic bandage to make lilly bandage and tobacco bandage. Honey also can be crafted to honey bandage.
A rash doesnt need a bandage eat tobbaco plant as it has anti histomine
edit:
If you have a worm you need a bone needle to remove the worm first then apply bandage.
Bone can be found on stump with maggots if you dont have any from the capiburra etc . :)

also if you're wound is infected the base bandage doesn't work either

In addition, find worms (dead animals that randomly appear) and apply them on infected wound, after a while your wound will be clean and then you can apply bandage.

For the maggots(worms) you can also harvest spoiled meat.

It was a new save and yes some wounds were old so that could be why, but the worms getting them out creates that small wound which even then still does't let me do it. I have started over and will see if that helps considering my other save I was probably going to die soon anyways...

Same here, just started to play the game and im now in the first camp, fallen down with a wound on my right arm.
The game saved at the beginning of the day so i can replay it.
Wife tells me how to make a bandage, but i cant apply it.

Some bandages can only be applied to specific wound types.

At this point of the Game, its more like a tutorial. The Story makes me fall down and i get a scratch on my right arm. Wife calls me and introduces me, how to make a bandage and how to apply.
Youttube shows, that i've the right typ of bandage.
What else can i do?

You press C, pick the maginifying glass in order to obeserve each part of the body, you need to find the wound.
In order to do so click on each part and use right click to twist and turn the limb.
When you find the wound.
You open your backpack while in inspect mode and drag the bandage over the wound.

I think there is a bug, because I'm also at this stage of the tutorial and can't drag the bandage to the wound. It just drops the bandage every time.

you need to drag it to the white circle, it will appear when you drag the bandage, not to the wound itself.

Yeah, there is no circle at all. I've played the game before and had no trouble applying bandages in the past.

Can only conclude this is a bug. No circles show up with the leaf bandage and the wound during the tutorial.

Ouch sorry to hear that! I am an EA player so I finished the tutorial a long time ago, so once the 1.0 version was released I just skipped the tutorial.

Maybe that will work for you as well? Start a new game and skip the tutorial?
Will make it harder to learn the basics but at least you can keep playing.

but thats why i bought it now, cause i really want to experience an adventure story.
Anyway, thanks for your help, hopefully they fix ist.
I will try to ad a bandage in the free mode. :)
