Where are the coconuts?

Hi,,,new player here... I don't understand why i can't find any coconuts. I can't see any up any of the coconut trees or on the ground. So, I keep dying of thirst. lol

sometimes they are green and need to be broken with an ax first to store and whatnot ...also look near water...hope this helps

Not really. I've seen vids and pics of GH trees with coconuts in them and i know i need to cut the husk off them. But, I can't see any coconuts at all. Not up trees or on the ground.

there is a mushroom its blue and on the biggest trees in the jungle they will hold u over till u can find one u can eat them raw you will be fine

Just drink dirty water. Before you do this, collect orange mushrooms. Then eat these after drinking and when you got parasites, they kill the parasites. So you can always drink dirty water, if you own or find enough of these orange/red mushrooms. One mushroom kills one parasite. Alternate is a green fruit on a small wooden tree with small leaves, which kill 2 parasites in your stomach when eating.

There are coconuts, but the game is randomly generated (For the most part) so what you saw in a video, might not be there for you. Look around, you'll find some.

If you are at the waterfall very few coconuts there, Go North follow the stone wall keep on your left cross 2 small creeks you will come the village much better.
Not far at all canr miss it watch out for rattle snake at the top of log

If you find a green coconut on the ground, look at the top of the coconut tree. You will see one or two another coconuts. Aim them with a stone and shoot ! They will fall...

Much better aim with the axe! You will hit and it will fall all time, when you use the axe.

In the early access version they spawn (almost) everywhere - i think it was a good decision to limit spawn rate.
Now it´s hard to find them and it makes it harder and more interesting.

I guessed they might've changed it. My game seemed so different from what I was seeing in others' games.

By far, one of the dumbest game I've ever played. Can't even cup your own hands into drinking rain water, or simply take a leaf. Noo you have to hunt down mythical coconuts which do not grow in palm trees.

So make a clay bowl to catch the water or use a coconut bowl.
