Grapple hook Survival mode?

i completed the single player and now trying this but cant find the hook. i found it at the car once and its never there again.
been re-loading my save over n over to try get it at the car but no luck. only reason i want it is so i can go build a base on the other side where the island is.

Any one know where is can spawn on SURVIVAL?

I found it at the jeep in survival mode...so apparently it is in suvival mode

Yeah same but then i died lol they is no way of getting to the next bit with out it tho is they? i wana build on that island in the next bit but cant get there hahah

I was at the goldmine entrance in survival imo the mainproblem was not the missing petrol but that there is no generator nor elevator:)

Start new Survival Mode game and found Map - drugs lab, machete and iron axe - dock, hook - jeep.
If you save-load before found this items, it's all dissapeared
i played 32 days, and i don't have any of this, because i did't know that :(

Is this true? You have to go to all of these locations before saving in order to find those items?

Not at all. Or at least it didn't happen to me despite having saved and continued towards the jeep at a later time.

Nightwolf the reason it feels like this is because there is a decay timer on even essential items still. Just like they took away the delete option from essential items like the Metal Bidon now must they make essential items not decay.

They are aware of this and Im sure they are working to fix it. GH will be having lots of things ironed out to be streamlined. So for now... When you guys spawn make a bee line towards these items dont wait go get them. Im sure it will be fixed soon but for now Items like the Axe, machete and even apparently the grappling hook??? Despawn. So Vamoose.

Its not a when you save issue as much as it is finding these items before they despawn.

That might be one hypothesis, the other is that the game is bugged at random.

Yes you can, the bamboo bridge is restored in survival mode. It was disabled when in story mode.
