Elevator?

Sooooo... there is no Elevator in the Survival mode... soooo do you have the new Areas from the Story mode in the Survival mode too? cuz there is no elevator :/

I can share that if you were to cross there in survival mode you still can't get through as you will reach a closed stone wall with a door of paintings where you have to perform a
ritual ceramony. sorry

Those extra maps areas were designed for the story mode only. It make sense that if you dont want the Story mode action speaking to Mia on the talkie then playing the survival will not have them.
Why dont you play the story mode. I hardly ever speak to Mia only when I discover stuff.
Then all new areas are accessable to you. I just explore and build my bases.Find all the new cool things.
You can even play Storymode> A walk in the park, No tribes. Customise your exparience.
To get to Anaconda in Story that is the only way.
The bamboo bridge is completely broken. Where as in survival mode you have the bamboo bridge.

Its the job from the devs to bring more for the survival mode then the story mode.. Because this game is a survival game and should be more focus on the survival mode imo :/

It's just sad.. And in survival mode there is a bamboo bridge and yes you can go to the anaconda island but that was before the story mode playable so nothing new. :D

Actually you just can't get to the goldmine. The other areas are accessable even in Survival Mode. I got the map and the hook. I built the bridge to the Anaconda Camp and went east to get to the landing strip (a huge place where you can build a massive structure! I forsee big things in various gameplays coming to this sight). There you can find everything you need to go further to the new areas. I am currently checking how far you can get. Just got the diving devices. So please stop complaining. The devs did an excellent job!

Really? Hmm okay i did not repair the bamboo bridge yet.. But i have the climb axe.. I was in a new area but where u cant cross the tree bridge cuz there is not one..

In the last few minutes i rushed the map and can confirm that you have access even to the last parts of the map. I have even found a camp I didn't spot in the Story Mode! (where you get the third part of the map ...)

In Story mode its well and truely broken. We are supposed to travel a different route.

Yes in the story mode its normal that the bridge is broken.
and in survival mode you can build that bridge.

Of course my answer was only related to survival mode. As far as I can tell by now: You get to Anaconda camp via bridge in survival mode and per Lambda Location in story mode. In survival mode you can reach every location with the exception of the gold mine (elevator).

But it can happen - like it did for me in my first load - that you can't find the map or the hook where they are supposed to be. That was the case for me when I died and had to start over from the last save. The map I had already looted was gone and the hook wasn't at the jeep either. I started a new game via main menu, got both and now everything is fine. I am just not sure where the perfect location for my base would be now ... I think I will go north to where you come out of the cenoten.

Items are random spawning but i'm now over the bamboo bridge ( it was already finished for me ) and i'm now on the new area (air field). 👍

Could you confirm are you playing Story mode or survival?
The bamboo bridge in Story mode is broken directing the player to go via the Stone Henge route climb up with grappling hook. pass through via dream ceremony.

The Elevator and gold mine is accessible using petrol from jeep.


After Story mode is finished and playing survival the bamboo bridge is restored.
The access to Stone Henge is only to the Stone Henge as the opening created by dream ceremonial is not accessible as the log across the canyon is removed.
The Gold mine is closed as access to the elevator needs petrol petrol has been removed. No need for us to go there in survival. Where teh jeep had petrol before now has grappling hook

i am playing the survival mode. i played the story, but i did not finished it yet. should i, to get to all locations? i dont think so, or? the bamboo bridge was fine, while i played (survival).

i took the road with the bridge, to the anaconda island. i also have visited the air field. but when i want to go south, to the third part of the map, there is no way or i am blind. at C-1 (27/25) there is a platform and kind of a rope down, but i cant do anything. when i try to jump down into the water i just died in the air. and one level back and down, where the anaconda is located, there should be a climbing point at delta (34/29), but there is only a big stone area on the ground and something hanging over the abyss from above, but too, i cant do anything there.

where are you going to this part of the map, in survival?
