Report a translation problem
But I'm a little confused about whether you are talking about chapter 4(Lucius / 'Belief') or 5(Bianca / 'Arrest'), because there's no trap skill in chapter 4(I guess you refer to chapter 5).
And I just checked chapter 5 tutorial in English, but it worked without any problems.
So I want to ask you: What direction did you use the trap?
Step 6 of chapter 5 tutorial only responds to RIGHT-DOWNward direction(I admit it's a little confusing, so it'll be changed at later version).
Or, if the problem still remains, you can just skip the tutorial with ESC key.
Sorry for your inconvenience, and I will wait for your reply to solve your problem.
Thank you!
And the affected Blocked chapter is Chapter 6. I cannot move the characters when Reina and the cute Java student are in the map with the gatromonsters. Am I missing any keys?
The only thing that works is the status screen of the characters.
Thanks for que quick response.
So I have to ask you something more.
The battle flow of every chapter is:
1) Select skills and press 'Start' button(since chapter 6).
2) Click anywhere to check objectives.
3) Tutorial begins when your first turn starts(until chapter 7).
4) Follow or skip to finish tutorial.
5) Play through.
- How many steps of this you can progress without a problem?
- And what buttons did you press(including both of mouse and keyboard) until you found the problem?
- Or, if you are able to and willing to help us, sending the screenshots to our email(epicmonads@gmail.com) will make the fixing process faster.
Thank you for continuously playing our game even with such a hassle.
Sincerely.
You see the mission objectives but once you click ( to hide the objectives) you are unable to see the tutorial, highlighted movement squares or anything at all (you can only click to see each unit status), Key T for end turn does't work either. Any other action or click on the map will result in a "missclick sound"
In the email I provide the full savegame folder compressed along with a list of screenshots.
So I guess the problem is because of the difference of environment.
But I found a suspicious part of the code and changed it(even though I couldn't test it).
I'm not sure it will solve the problem, but please try downloading that patch version.
I hope you tell me if it works fine or not.
Would you send me the folder you've sent before again if the problem still remains(the log file was really helpful)?
I'm grateful for your kindness.
In short - you can try some of these:
1) Continue with the savefile I've sent you(I just cleared chapter 6 battle with that).
2) Upgrade directX to 11.1 or higher.
3) Upgrade OS to Windows 8 or higher.
The detail explanation and instructions are written in the email.
Thank you.
Overall I'm having fun despite these problems which are, as noted, probably code related as they are extremely specific to chapter 6 and 11 and they didn't happen to me in neither of the other chapters.
The description of the problem is the exact same as chapter 6. Once units are in place and quest objectives show on the battle screen I therefore proceed to place the units. Once I hit start (units placed) no unit turn display nor unit attacks or movement tiles work at all. Note that unit placement wasn't available the first time I did Chapter 6, but even repeating chapter 6 with this upgraded save chapter 6 still doesn't work for me.
I would recomend checking carefully the code of those two chapters exactly at the part of the unit turn displayer after hitting the first start ( the "unit placement "start is not relevant, I place the units and hit that start and unit turns and movement tiles just don't show)
I look forward to keep playing this nice title. By the way, beggar encounter by ARCADIA has some not traslated text (displaying in Korean) I don't recall the exact chapter... maybe chapter 8? I think it is the first chapter he starts talking about Sepia's amnesia. .
so please try the new patch version(sadly I'm still not sure if it will completely solve the problem, because I can't do test).
If the problem remains(or another critical bug exists), please send us "the folder again" to make me be able to analyze the log and skip the battle with your save file.
The translation error of chapter 9(what you said in #9) is fixed at the current version.
Thank you for the report.
The codes for safety worked to a degree. They worked partially. I mean, I still cannot advance chapters because ALL the enemies move before I can move my units, but at least I can see now the turn display and start the battle and watch how I get killed (chapter 6) and/or guys escape from battle pulling a nice lever (chapter 11).
I still cannot advance just because ENEMY TURN COMES FIRST and therefore I always lose those 2 chapters. The rest appears to be fixed.
To fix the problem I need to be able to move my units first (And verify that the movement tiles work, because when enemy moves I cannot verify as they don't show).
Nice work on this patch! If the problem persists I will deliver my (previously bypased) save.
Looking forward to play again!
Cheers!
I can response as fast as before since February 28.
I'm glad to there's a difference in the situation, and thank you for the great hint(enemy turn comes first)!
But I have to know what is happening in the game logic code to fix it, so please send us the game data folder(same as before).
A screenshot of the point you can't advance will help me a lot.
Thank you.
I did a patch trying to solve it, so please try it.
Detail explanations are written in the email.
Thank you for your fast support, I'm sure the traslation will be adressed sooner or later. In my humble opinion the overall quality of the game is good enough and the grammar incoherences don't prevent at all (for me) the enjoyment of the story .
I will keep playing and of course I will come back if any other chapter disagrees with this statement.
Cheers
