Change difficulty?

I know im gonna get harrassed for this, but I was not aware I couldn't complete the game on easy difficulty, is there any way I can modify my save data to be normal difficulty? I really don't want to play through the entire thing again as ive already found the game overly difficult as is.

Well, the save can be edited with certain tools or you could download someone else's saves.

well yes, but how would I modify the difficult to normal? ive scoured through the disccussions and guides and there is nothing on this

I know how to do it with RPGMaker and a decrypted game, but I don't think you have those things.

I guess I could take your save file and modify it, if you want to still fail the midway point if you don't meet the ending requirements, alternatively you can download a save from somewhere or actually try to beat the game in normal mode.

Honestly, after the midway point there are normal-mode level challenges anyway.

There's also Changed-Special.
When it's finished it should be a lot more doable than the original.

Its giving me an error, unable to download

Steam breaks the link if you click it, you have to manually copy and paste it in your browser.

Just as an info: Steam is currently breaking any link containing "&" as it gets changed to "&amp" when clicking on the link.
