But WHY does Dr. K wear a mask? He does mention allergies after convincing protagonist to reject his humanity but it does not say anywhere, even his diary. Just got so curious about this.... holy crap.

I think most likely due to his senses got more heighten after becoming a k sample beast where he most likely not like the advanced smelling so he wears a mask so the advance smelling doesn't get in the way

Another question. Why is it that in latest version of the game when you get transfured with Puro, there are two of you? Shouldn't he assimilate you like he wanted to.... i'm confuzzled.

There's two versions of that ending. Puro's thoughts should explain it.

The main reason is that he is not used to such a keen sense of smell after transforming, so he put on a mask to make him more comfortable

It ain't canon at all. One thing ~ having your surroundings smelling awful. And other is having an incredible sense of smell.

And, K's office and lab are quite clean, too. One of the cleanest places in the whole game. I think only Puro's library takes the first place after you come to him second time in Special. (he tidies it so ferociously.... owo)

Is it clean? I don’t remember much, but I will remember not to put too many junk decorations in the new version

It is quite clean actually. In terms of goo, there is nothing there. Dr.K cleans it, there is even a mop and a bucket for that.
