stuck walking left glitch?

i literally just started the game, like just got out of the first room, and now no matter what i do the game acts as if im holding down the left key. i tried starting a new file and reinstalling the game but it didnt help. so i cant walk to the right. pls help.

I would open up windows controller settings (start menu or WIN+R, "joy.cpl", enter) and check if there's anything showing up. If there is, unplug or disable whatever is showing up and try the game again.

This game is made with rpgmaker, and this problem is a bug that comes with rpgmaker, I ca n’t fix it, sorry

i found that if I held down all four buttons and released them almost at same time, it fixes it sometimes.

Ah, OK then. OP never responded to my question, but there has been cases like webcams causing this and they usually show up as controller when they do.

Other solutions include plugging out all USB devices, rebooting and plugging them back in.
