Tactical Nuke has Changed

Now Im stuck on the Squid Dog boss

I know you have to get the tentacles to zoom into the boss to defeat it, but I am having trouble trying to get all the tentacles in the correct spot without dying (Normal Mode). Any tips on how I should move?

I actually got three tentacles to hit the boss by doing that, will try again, hopefully Ill beat the boss. Edit: It worked, thank you very much!
