Enable Debug Mode
*my response to the dev here for everyone to see*

Sorry the Cheat menu was never meant to be available to the players, we only realized that players could actually get access to it through cheat engine and the likes when certain players cheated their rating on the online ladder. For the integrity of the game we can't let that one in, even if certain players have no interest in PvP.

Me:So,as always, non PVP players are impacted because some PVP players are cheaters...GREAT!
I play Amplitude games with the console mode enabled for fun (-enablemoddingtools on launch option)...you can't get Achievements or play multi and the dev is aware you use it.
Maybe you should add a box to tick to enable your debug mode,If you tick this box you are flagged and cannot be on the leaderboard or play against others.
I have a new PC,this game had no cloud save ...no desire to redo everything...I wanted to use the debug mode to start with my favorite pets.
Now,I'll just don't play anymore T_T
And,I'm a backer...so thanks but no thanks for that really bad decision.

Like I wrote in the upper quote, that cheat menu was never meant to be available to players in the first place no matter if its a full fledged offline game or not and was only accessible by tampering with the game. Not having cheats available ingame is a philosophical decision of ours.

If you have still access to your old PC you can easily transfer the savegame. By now the game has Cloud Saves.

Thanks for backing the game but a full fledged cheat menu was not a part we promised the game to have in the Kickstarter campaign.

edit: Only a handful of players knew of that cheat menu, so the majority of offline players are not really affect by that decision.

Okay...so It's YOUR game and we players are just here to do what YOU want us to do.
It's not OUR game...okay...so no mods later,I think.
Fine...you are not the only one doing Catch Pets games on Steam.
And others are more open to fun and modding :)
Thanks for the early builds,It was a pleasure to play...nothing is eternal...

Actually the game includes quite some monsters designed by the community by now, not sure how that aspect is related to not adding a cheat menu to the game (which most other games don't do as well?)

Designed is not modded...you keep the entire control of things.
Mods are mean to "change" the game for the like of the players (adding Lord of the Rings Nazgûl as pet)...or break It xD

Your game is nice and I wish you Good Luck!
No problem here I'm ready to move to another green pasture :)

You could do it in this way. Before the player decides to enable the cheat system on a particular character, you can warn the player saying this character will be flagged as 'cheated' and not able to enter PvP system. So from now on, any 'cheated' character won't be able to interact with other players but people like the poster can still be happy right?
