Please define how turn based combat is "lazy" compared to other combat systems. Also please define what you think "game design" even is. Is "open world" game design? Is "physics system" game design?

Given the criteria you listed here it sounds like Minecraft is the best game in the world for you. Or maybe any game by Ubisoft.

If anything, you should be more worried about the fact that they are already providing pre-order and deluxe bonuses that include some apparently consumable in-game items. Posing the question if there will be an in-game shop to purchase consumables and other advantages.

i was hoping the combat would be like the one in one piece world seeker but much harder, turn based just seems like a mobile game thing but with better graphics and less in app purchases.

(ill still play it cause i haven't seen the elders in any other one piece game+nami)

game with multiple endings that are influenced by the decisions you make as you play. Chrono Trigger remains one of the best RPGs of All Time
