Anyone else getting weird graphical glitches and/or crashes?
So, I have a love/hate relationship with Tomb Raider Underworld. It's easily the most flawed game in the series, but it's my second favorite, right behind Legend. Problem is, I want to go back to it, and I have all sorts of odd things happening.

First problem came when I tried booting up a save in the Meditteranean Sea, in the area with the big Kraken. There's all sorts of textures flickering along the wall, and the PDA when brought up, is completely blank. That's when loading a thing for the first time; I tried loading another save file and boom. Instant CTD.

Then I tried to start a new game, to see what happens. After a loading screen, the game auto-crashes before the game even starts, and I get an error message with this in the extended message part:

"Wrong DRM version data 0, code 13
rebuild of PC-W\firetriggervolume.drm needed"

What gives? Anyone else having problems like this, or am I just a walking taboo?

Nope. Never got that so far. Try validate the game files and try again. Maybe reinstall directx and check settings.

K, validated game files, had it fixed. Everything seems to be working again.

I recall the game was very buggy from the start, different bug's for different platform's, the one that bother's me the most was restarting a new game over one you didn't finish, you had to goto the TR folder and delete all the prev. saves or the items and secrets you found would be missing when the new game start's, even with the bug fix I still delete my prev. save with each new game I start,

I just started playing this and it didnt save a game after much progress and then it wont let me delete saved games

There is a Eidos folder with TRU save games in your WINDOWS document folder. Just delete those files and start new
